Anger

Everyone experiences a variety of emotions. Some are comfortable and some are uncomfortable. Anger is an uncomfortable emotion that we would prefer to live without but it gives us clues about people and situations that are challenging for us. Anger can be a manifestation of underlying sadness, disappointment, frustration and other uncomfortable emotions. It is important to learn what triggers feelings of anger. It is important to feel uncomfortable emotions and learn strategies for managing them in the long-term. Some physical cues help us identify when we are feeling angry, such as hot, tense, heart palpitations, and headaches.
